I have been thinking about what to put on my walls over the sofa in my bedroom. I wanted to bring in two of my own artwork. At first I thought that I wanted to make two new painting but then I realized that I already had made the perfect artwork but they are hanging in my dinning room. The symbolic in these paintings are incredible. Two half elephants that makes a beautiful hole elephant. Even though they have different background they seem like they are a perfect fit. And despite the fact they were made years apart they seems like they have destined to be together. Just like my husband and I :-) I painted the red half elephant in 2009 and the green half in 2012 :-) When I hang them in my bedroom The gap between the paintings has to be smaller as too big a gap between things can symbolize a distance in your relationship.
With my inspiration photo in mine I wanna change my headboards. Original the headboards was bought for the girls bedrooms before they took over our twin elevation beds. One is purple and one is bright pink. That's why I recover them with old turquoise curtain from IKEA :-) I realized that the Purple headboard actually was in the same color scheme as my inspiration photo. The question is now: 1. Do I buy a new headboard in the same purple (and sell the pink one)? Link to Headboard or 2. Do I buy fabric and recover both headboards? Link to fabric
I really like my night stands and I searched around the house and right now I don't have other tables that could replace them. But I sat a looked for hours (maybe minutes but I got a lot of thinking done)on my night stands to find out that was wrong and I realized that it might be the lamps I had to change.
I LOVE my Miss K table lamps Designed by Philippe Starck. They have a soft look and has a built-in dimmer BUT they are not very big. I looked around my house a decided to change them out for my Bourgie Table Lamps. All I need to find is a dimmer solution.
